Membership to the UC Refugee Action Club is free for 2024.
We are a group of staff and students at the University of Canberra who campaign to end our Government's cruel treatment of asylum seekers and refugees.
If you're a current or future student/staff member at the University of Canberra, and you agree that there are better, more humane ways to process asylum seekers and refugees than Australia's current system, then we are the club for you. We are a working group of the Canberra Refugee Action Committee, and we have regular events to encourage awareness of refugee issues, connect our members with volunteering opportunities, and raise money for refugee activism and support.
